GRUB - Probably the best place in Manchester to sit, relax and drink quality cider; with wonderful street food to match.
The interest in Craft Cider in Manchester started with Hogan’s cider and its promotion by Port Street Beer House and IndyManBeerCon craft beer festival.
Hogan’s Cider spread throughout the Northern Quarter and beyond, becoming the go to reliable craft cider for Brewery Taps and bars such as Northern Monk, Beatnikz and Bundobust.
The cider boom was then kickstarted by the first Cider Fete organised in 2018 by Hogans and GRUB.
GRUB soon became Probably the best place in Manchester to sit, relax and drink quality cider; with wonderful street food to match.
And then cider in Manchester began to boom.

Cloudwater Tap Room - Now sells Tom Oliver dry Fine Cider, we are waiting in anticipation their release of a collaboration they have produced with him.
Beer Nouveau - Natural wild ferment ciders and perry from Ross Cider. Owner, Steve organised Manchester Cider Festivals at the start of the decade, until brewing took over his life.
Marble Arch and 57 Thomas Street have championed Eastern Counties ciders supplied by London based Real Al Co. who are now making regular craft cider deliveries to Manchester. Ascension Ciders are a standout for those that enjoy crisp and clean refreshing ciders and fruit ciders.

Stalybridge Buffet Bar - Always a local cider and quality authentic cider on tap and now a new cider chiller full of fine ciders from Ross on Wye Cider and Perry, and Pilton Cider. Erected new cider shelves, but some 750ml Natural Ciders did not fit, so they came up with a new hashtage #RethinkCiderShelf
Browtons Bottle Shop and Bar - In this tiny drinking den in Ashton you will find some of the Finest Ciders in Manchester, many unavailable elsewhere. A cider drinkers mecca.
BOLTON
Bunburys, bar manager Darryl has fully embraced #RethinkCider – a full range of cider and perry from Ross on Wye Cider and Perry.
Beer School - Cider enthusiasts who visited Little Pomona and Ross on Wye Cider in Herefordshire to learn from the cider makers and came back with a wonderful selection of quality cider for their week long Cider Festival June 7th to 16th, part of Bolton CAMRA Beer and Cider Week.
SALFORD
The Grocers Micro Pub - Very cider knowledgeable bar manager, best place for Somerset ciders.
The Northern Type - Fine Ciders and Perry by renowned Tom Oliver and others from the Fine Cider Co.
CHORLTON
The Font - Trafford and Hulme CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year. A superb example of #RethinkCider. Modern, youthful bar selling Hogans Cider and a range of others.
WIGAN
Wigan Central Real Ale and Cider Bar - Wigan CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year and another bar team recently returned from Ciderland with a full car!
STOCKPORT
Petersgate Tap - Stockport and South Manchester CAMRA’s Cider Pub of the Year and winner of the CAMRA region cider pub of the year. A bar staff who keep their ciders and perry at a perfect temperature – cellar cool, not too cold.

Harvey Leonards, The Old Conservative Club, 22 Norfolk St, SK13 8BS, website - This wonderful wine merchant and craft beer bar has recently introduced fine ciders onto its superb wine shelves. Brannland wine like cider from Sweden, the excellent sweet Hazy Ways from Little Pomona, and Tom Olivers fine cider and perry.
